That knowledge may increase among us and all good learning may flourish and abound in this place. Bless all who teach and all who learn, and grant that we may never forget, that you are the fountain of all wisdom and truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • Fenced in the entire church/school campus for better security
  • Constructed 2 new classrooms and relocated the library
  • Opened a second section of Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Third Grade.
  • Updated the Computer Lab with new Dell Computers
  • Received a state grant to purchase a Smart Board for the Computer Lab
  • Re-opened the Science Lab
  • Purchased new playground equipment
  • Implemented a Foreign Language Program
  • Added piano keyboards to the Music Program
  • Purchased property to add on to our current school facility
  • P.E. teacher became a certified archery instructor
  • Formed a Dad’s Club
  • Purchased new basketball goals
  • Added 15 minutes of daily instructional time
  • Designed SMES spirit shirt for students to wear with jeans on Friday
  • Hired a full time bookkeeper
  • Hired aides to assist in the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes
  • Added Accelerated Math in 2007-2008 school year.
  • Added 2 new classrooms under Tucker Hall
  • Resurfaced the playground blacktop
  • Partnership with Brushworks Academy for monthly art lessons
  • Added Smart Boards in 3 classrooms
  • Added Mimio Technology Systems in all 1st—7th grade classrooms
  • Added covered walkways
  • Hired an Assistant Head of School
