St. Matthew's Episcopal School's Pre-School provides care for three year olds in an educational and Christian setting. The Pre-School’s primary goal
is to achieve a high level of development in personal and social skills. Students work toward individual responsibility, independence, self-confidence
and self-esteem. Daily Pre-School activities include prayer, bible stories, reading, science, dramatic play, math manipulatives, motor skills, structured play,
music and free play. Pre-School children utilize learning centers focused on language development, math concepts, art, listening and social awareness.
Applicants for Pre-School
- SMES Pre-School is a 5 day a week program.
- Hours: 8:00am- 2:30pm
- Applicants must be potty trained ans at least 3 years of age by September 30 of the entrance year.
- Applicants are admitted on a first come, first served basis
- Applicants are placed on the class list in the order that the non-refundable registration fee is received
- Class sizes are limited. Once classes are full, applicants are placed on a waiting list.
- Applicants are admitted on a conditionial basis for the year. If at any time, in the opinion of St. Matthew's Episcopal School,
enrollment of the child shall be deemed detrimental to the student's health or progress, or to other students, he or she may be dismissed.
