The goal of St. Matthew’s Episcopal School’s Kindergarten Program is to achieve a high level of development in personal and social skills prior to entry into first grade. Because children are in different stages of readiness during the Kindergarten years, St. Matthew’s believes it is of primary importance to be aware of where each student is developmentally, appreciating that growth is continuous and that each child has a unique pattern and rate of growth.
